Agreed, can never time the market, you just don’t know what’s coming. Having said that, everyone is saying CBA is a sell, but I topped up today at little, only 50 shares bringing me closer to 5000 CBA bought mostly at an average price of $20. I’m not bragging here, just thinking and remembering when I bought in mostly over 3 decades ago experts were saying CBA was way overpriced.
Yes it is, but it’s over 10% of total ASX market cap, our biggest stock, continually having to be picked up by passive ETF’s and dividend coming up. Whose to know it won’t be $200 in 5 years?
So, time in the market for those who have decades of investing left. DYOR
