The valuation may be absolutely ludicrous on CBA, doesnt mean it wont go a little further. However, the upwards move is extremely risky for investors. Think about the hybrid investors - potential conversion if CBA falls below $75 in the next decade? What about if it has to cut dividends next year? Absolutely insane whats going on. While investors may be cheering at present, what is happening now could have consequences later on. Using indexed strategies were are forced to buy in at 25x earnings, negative earnings growth, and dividends below the 10-yr government bond.
