If the bank sees less value in their custom than their cost to service , unless there is some intangible reason to counteract that , Joncoles is spot on. This is a commercial enterprise . Society is perfectly entitled to set up a public owned bank if it desires a bank that doesn't operate as a commercial enterprise , my own preference would be that it did .
