Bob, not that I want to make it a point of contention, but just for the record, the last closing high was $144.50 on 20/SEP/24. Since then, there have been 28 (not 36) trading days without that high being breached. Why have you attached any importance to these numbers.? Is there some immutable law in EWT or Fibonacci sequencing that demands a retracement after 36 trading days without a new high..? You then say "if this continues, investors will realise they are holding a low yielding stock"....really..? Investors do not need to "wait" to realise this; investors can inform themselves NOW that CBA is a low yielding stock at 3.25% pa. I hope this clears the air.

The stock hasn't reached a new high in a while because every man and his dog knows rates will come down, which will affect net interest income.
