They are desperate enough that their next meal depends on it or worse some screws are loose up there. Both if which has disconnected themselves from truth and reality.
The first one is just sad but for the screw loose narcissist type. There's an endless number of baseless arguments they can make up in response to anything you say. Narcissist they couldn't care less about the truth, they just care about winning. Why are you even bothering to have reasoned arguments with a narcissist?
