Thanks for the chart, it brings back memories.
It did trigger a correction to my memory. I had sold 7 puts & 7 calls & was 7 short not 5 of each as I posted previously. If I was not 7 contracts short, I would have had to come up with $350,000 on the day of the crash. That was a lot of money in 1987. As it was, I bailed out my business partner to the extent of $50,000. He finished up owing me $99,000 & I have not received any of it.
