If you buy now I agree you probably have a greater risk of capital loss however if you bought 5, 10 , 20 years ago you are only losing some capital gain, paper profit. Many would require the world to be almost ending to even look like losing any capital , many are holding parcels from the initial float and have benefited from the dividend reinvestment scheme.
