A few more clues to add to the mix from the overnight session.
For the bulls, XLF did go on a bit of a run off the back of CPIs green opening. XLF has been in a strong uptrend, so until that's broken all dips will keep getting bought.
For the bears, XLF gave back all its gains to close flat - also rejected VPOC for current consolidation a couple of times in closing hour. There was quite a bit of insto activity again overnight (using much smaller size) and almost all positions were filled at the highs (bearish).
At the end of the day price is consolidating so there's a legitimate case for bulls and bears here so once more I'll leave it with you to make your own minds up on directional bias...
