    Why is it a good investment when its fully franked dividend yield is 3.06%/70% = 4.3%. When the 2-year Australian government bond yield is 4.2%

    Yes, there is no capital appreciation in a government bond held to maturity. However there is also no capital losses either.

    Are you going to tell me CBA is immune to correction and buyers at these prices don't have to worry as the stock will perpetually gain 10% every month?

    Current prices are horrible prices to buy into. Its prices as growth stock despite no growth in its earnings. Did you see the quarterly report yesterday - CBA's own words are earnings were 'flat'.
