What do CBA investors do when the share price no longer makes new highs & the yield is 2.9%?
This is when you have a dud investment. The yield is way under the true rate of inflation, which means you are losing money.
Do not forget the last CPI figures were falsified. They said the figure was down because electricity costs were down. They were only down because the government gave us rebates. Yes, they gave us back our own money so that electricity prices would appear lower, bringing down the CPI, hoping for an interest rate cut before the election. It did not work because of the underlying rate of inflation.
