Not at all. Being a share investor is fine, except in the case of CBA which is totally overpriced & little likelihood of any capital gain as the price has gone to a level that cannot be matched by profits & dividends for several years.
Money will be tied up in a non-performing share. In other words, a share with a low yield & little chance of any meaningful capital gain.
That is precisely why I sold my 2,656 CBA shares, most of which had been held from the float.
