Because it's an inflation hedge and all performance is benchmarked on a relative basis to inflation I.e (CPI + x). With inflation at c. 3%, most high growth are targeting c. 7-8% all-in, which makes up c. 40% of the return base. Superfunds (in generally, according to the recent JP Morgan research note) only have c. 10% weighted to CBA.
