The point I was trying to make is that any foreign investor contemplating buying CBA is more likely to buy the stock when the AU$ is relatively weak. You have confused this with comparing the wisdom of buying one stock against another which is a different question altogether. It's possible to own CBA and JPM at the same time - they are not mutually exclusive.
