Yes, the fallacy of comparing original buy price from 20 years ago to claim 15-100% yields. No point trying to get through to bolted on love in crowd. So many ways to maximize returns on a large cap frothy stock without selling, even for retail.
Where and when is the next leg coming from to justify having such a large position here? AI? Property boom, again? Interest rate cuts? Otherwise dead money for maybe a year or two (maybe even drawdown).
Can't rely on momentum forever. Find me any analyst who justifies the DCF at this price. But, yes many will say here, but analysts were calling this a sell since $100. Ultimately, it's not magic pudding. The weighing machine will kick in at some point. CBA will be the opposite of the Dogs of the Dow trade in 2025.
