    What's the disclosure on every financial product. 'Past returns are not indicative of future returns'. Buying CBA today just because it has cooked 45% in the past year is very high risk.

    Yes CBA has risen 60% over the past 18 months. But earnings are growing at 2%. How is that sustainable?

    And yes government bonds dont rise 60%, but they also wont correct 30-40% to the mean. But then why worry about markets ever correcting again, why ever worry about a reversion to the mean? Why even bother with the concept of a margin of safety............stocks only ever go up right?

    One day the lesson will be learnt, it always is
