I bought a put option when CBA hit $165. It's not a huge option, but it's up 165% since last week. I bought out of the money with a strike at $158, so it's in the money now and this volubility is giving the option higher value. Expires in April so has a long way to run.
Conflicted if I should cash in as CBA and the bank shares have sold off before and recovered. However, this time I think a recovery will be much harder on the back of the banking sectors soft earnings.
