Boomer, Love your rational but in my experience value and return have a habit of eventually balancing out. Return will increase or value retreats or the investment falls in a hole and disappears . Your reference to the lazy and the emotional tickles me a bit. The poor lazy bastard that bought these at float and collected the dividends and still holds must be devastated as he watched his investment increase to $165 and crash to todays close of $151 .73 lol. Now I can't see CBA disappearing any time soon so if the divy increases so will the SP if the divy does not increase the SP will stagnate or drop until the percentage is more respectable but bear in mind that there are outfits with an SP much larger than CBA paying smaller divies. Despite the word from the self appointed Gurus on HC I think CBA are a very solid outfit and the foolish lazy bastard that bought at float has little to worry about assuming they don't follow HC or the short term fluctuations that occur
