Yeah, but so have the so called experts been calling this expensive for the last 2-3 years and where are we now? Anything is possible at this stage, but it's way too early to call the direction. Things I'm looking for are the market structure, I'd consider around 7760 XJO (ASX200) official correction territory. which would also coinside with a retracement to the Fib 50% level of the entire move going back to Oct 23, looks a bit stretched IMO as it would also break the August low which was the Yen carry trade scare, 7900 looks possible, looking at the .61 retracement, Any bounce off these supports including the 200MA and I don't see a substantial change in market structure that could see a final legup leading into a blowoff top. I only see this kind of correction happening if something major happens like a GFC crash in real estate prices for now, or similar debt crisis sparked by the US? Could be phantom debt such BNPL or similar too, another bout of covid or major geopolitical tension(war etc)

Other things I'm watching is the money flow into Chinese stocks, namely their tech sector esp with the massive amounts of stimulus needed to boost consumption to combat any trump tariffs and meet their 5% growth targets. However, any pullback in chinese stocks/tech I see as inflows back to stuff like CBA which could mean higher for longer. Anything is possible, it's just too early to tell. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'd also derisk by taking some profits on the way up, with the intention to re-enter at a lower price. Anyone with a long horizon likely needn't worry and just ride out any storm. A lot of people forget how much money was printed in the last decade alone, stimulus always finds it's way back into the hands of the rich which means property via rent and we all know who the beneficiary is here.
