Understood, and agreed, but the buyback of shares by the company does not, by itself, change its ability to earn income or its capacity to grow. Rightly or wrongly, I call a rise in the SP as a result of the buyback "cosmetic". Anyhow, regardless or the reason, I'm happy to see a buoyant SP, but I expect some weakness when the buyback ceases - not a prediction, just a caveat.
