I guess so, l think most seem to view equities like a gamble, one day people get lucky and the ‘stock machine’ will payout ‘kaching’ then the moronic cry will be “see l told you so”
some people do quite serious analysis and my feeling is that they probably do ok (who really knows) but don’t analyse it. probably 1/500 measure their results just not those on the CBA thread.
(l reckon it makes more sense to short the entire au market CBA are too high a % of the index??)
