Adherents can always invent a narrative to justify price action. In this case, it'll be a "flight to safety" story. But in reality, it's just that funds are frog-marched to buy with the tsunami of government-mandated funds that pour into their coffers every month. The vast majority of people have a large proportion of their allocation set by default to buy the ASX. And with CBA being 10% of that, it's a given.
