When you factor in the money that should be spent to get the land back to pre-mining landform THEN fully rehabilitate that land to productivity prior to mining, there wouldn't be any dividends to shareholders.. There are tens of thousands of mines that have not been rehabilitated due to the fact that it is impossible to mine and rehabilitate economically. Iluka Resources is one of them.
