If you think that CBA cannot crash, then you are a fool.
In 1987 the entire market crashed. My recollection of the numbers is in the futures SPI contract, the high in the December contract, when in late September the volume in the December contract was higher than the September contract, was 2404 & after the crash the low was 1054. That was a 56.156% fall.
If that happened to CBA from today's high ($188.36) the bottom would be $82.58.
If something similar was to happen now, all those who have already sold will be rather pleased with themselves & those who still held on with the worry that they could not afford to sell because of capital gains tax, would have had that worry eliminated.
I am not saying CBA will fall over 56% but I am warning of what can happen when in a bubble & the bubble bursts.
