Yes. I have only been investing for about 10 years. I have tried short selling (using Interactive Brokers) but wasn't very successful. If you use something like CFD's they are a lot easier to get access to, but the leverage can wipe out your capital very fast. I was in my early 20's and very dumb.
Since then my largest investment mistakes have been from selling or reducing a position too early. (eg selling half of my Nvidia shares 5 years ago) because I thought they were temporarily "expensive."
