i dont know if many shareholders are interested but mastercard is in a sense theft because after about 3 and half years the bank has retrieved twice what you borrowed, so from then on they taking it again every 3to 4yrs so somone in debt 40yrs has paid bank about 50 times depending on how you value the interest or return you've lost.so in a sense a sought of private taxation and or subsidy for more well off borrowers.
