Hi , It became a rip off as soon as the bank was privatised. That is what capitalism does. If a government ever gets around to starting another government owned bank , I am perfectly happy for dollar mites 2 , to start up again with that bank. Perhaps no attached credit card. Anyway , it was a ripoff , but it is one of the reasons we get to pay a premium for CBA. Nothing has changed , banks are not sweet and cuddly organisations . Dont see the relevance to whether you should buy or sell a bank share .
