Yes, I think that the dividend carrot has lured many a jockey.
Rene Rivkin was claiming on his radio show last Wednesday that if you were to get in before the ex-div then a 9.25% yield would be received in one year and a couple of weeks from CBA.
He also said that he would be surprised if CBA got to $25.40
What is such an attraction of 9.25% div yield if you suffer a capital loss which will dwarf this?
