I think the value in AMP, are the Platform, if they are integrated and award winning, then it is a quick win for a buyer to strengthen their platform. If you had to employ a team to produce a new platform and maintain it, it would be more of a synergy to buy something that is established, and get all the other goodies around it.
Platforms are not easy to design and build, especially ones that compliment your work structure.
