Now where are we bonkers.
1)Sunday papers still running CBA down---so that's good.
2)Peter Costelloe has said yes------so that's good.
3)Professor Fels has indicated on the surface he has no fundamental objection---but needs to look into it further-----so that's good.
4)CBA employee's were given a great payrise recently so they should be in a good mood-----so
thats good.
5)The MD's of both companies have high standards
of ethics and business practice-----so thats good.
6)The two companies while affected by the interest rate jitters are nevertheless continuing
to make great profits---every year is a record--
so that's good.
7)So therefore I reckon my money is safe, all we have to do is try and get Colonial for a good price--then I've got two companies for the price of one.
