Hi Poyndexter , I think you have correctly answered your own question. I think you have to be suspicious of ''new paradigms'' , and unless you conjure up one of these tricky little beggers , there is no logical justification for CBA's share price. There is the odd post talking about how good owning CBA has been to them , and yields on original investment , which , lets face it , have little other than emotional relevance. That is not to say that people cleverer than me wont make money on the short term ups and downs, but for my timelines CBA doesn't seem sensible.
Compare CBA's likely total return with any of the other banks for instance , over the next 5 years, not a good look. The disparity just too much.
