    Hi old dog,

That Gann was an astrotrader, there is no doubt.

He could not "come out of the closet" for fear of
ridicule from his peers on Wall St and his own wife.

Apparently from very religious stock Gann's wife and
son did not like him dabbling with astrology.

He was so paranoid about this, he actually wrote
a book, "Tunnel thru the Air" in 1927, where he
included his trading methods in coded messages
within the pages of his romantic novel.

It is a lousy romance, but the ASTROLOGICAL
messages show us a whole different approach to
applying ancient geometry to the markets.

To say he was a TA genius is quite true, since
he made the trading community aware of the
importance of the TIME axis on our charts.

His knowledge of astrology may have been limited,
but his genius shone through again in being able
to apply the GEOMETRY and MATHEMATICS of the
    heavens to the marketplace.

Astrotrading has nought to do with vague
interpretations of the planetary aspects, that
the astrologers like to load onto us ... man-made
    stuff.

Instead, real astrotrading uses the mathematics
and geometry of the heavens to calculate very
accurate time cycles, that NO man has influence
    over.

Gann quoted Faraday in his writings:

"Our universe is made of mathematical points of force".

There's so many rumours about Gann, his methods
and his wealth (or lack of it) that we may never know the REALl truth about him.

In the past 40 years, many of the rumours have been
started by publishers and gann wheel makers, who have
a vested interest in keeping the Gann-marketing
juggernaut rolling ... it is a global industry in itself.

Traders have picked up on some of these stories too,
so now the Gann name is bigger , nearly 50 years after
his death, than it was when he died.

    have a good weekend

    yogi
