Cobre / CBE is an interesting company with great potential ... enhanced recently by the Kalahari Copper Belt Botswana deal.
Low market cap (< $20M) with plenty of cash, relative low EV and drilling programs underway at each of their two exciting projects - WA and Botswana. Company only listed on the ASX in January 2020 and moved soon after to increase its stake from 80% to 100% of their key WA project. Plus Top 20 sharerholders have increased % owned to around 80% and may be still buying on market. MTR happy to be a long term holder and have increased their holding with the recent Botswana deal.
I find the share price action / almost lack of interest (on the surface only) in the company fascinating. Share price appears to be deliberately held back and pressured down. Here is an image from the ASX from this morning:
* Approx 2.4M Buy side v 0.4M sell side .... almost 6 to 1
* Watching ASX and CXA trading for a few weeks now ... cleverly being orchestrated to drive down or lower overall cost of purchase of core holding
* Seems like Top 20 and many small shareholders (like me) are holding, not selling and maybe buying. So restricted available number of shares for trading.
Early days yet but I expect at some stage the master will let this beast of its chain ..... DYOR
