Yeah thanks for the article Dexterbland- provided some good insight.

A few points I have about it though, China's zinc mining capacity may grow to 14% but does anyone know of what % of growth their demand for it is? I suspect this has grown and will continue to grow exponentially a lot higher than they can dig it out.

Also where does India sit - they would still have a fairly high and consistent demand for Zinc too?

IMO Short term Zinc could still rise, and has another 12/18 months at current or near current levels.

As a side issue, AIM has an offtake ann due out any time soon on a greenfields zinc mine project due for production in 08. Will be interesting to see what figures come from that as a litmus to what buyers see the future direction of Zinc.
