As a former holder who got out without much loss back in the bad old days, I'm sensing that those devoted and long suffering current holders are at last seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. In my view, wave energy has to be considered as a main source of constant production of energy. Like nuclear power, but without the radio-active waste problem. A big plus.
The geo - political situation in Europe, where Russia has Europe over a barrel with its gas supply advantage and is playing that advantage to the hilt, is delivering a hard and sobering lesson. Wind and solar depend on favourable weather conditions which aren't in any way guaranteed.Though battery farms can store energy to a point, the present energy crisis in Europe and the UK, where energy costs have soared, shows they're not a satisfactory answer to the problem. UK and European governments now know they need complete energy independence.Otherwise they are totally compromised politically vis-a-vis Russia. That means a source of renewable, constant supply of energy, has to be developed and soon. Cue wave energy. Sure there are, and have been, problems to be overcome. They will be. Government money will be forthcoming, have no doubt.
The only factor stopping me re-investing now is the matter of consolidation. The number of shares on issue is astronomical.
