I think the AFR article today might have something to do with the decline. It was fairly negative.
They had one analyst talk about how Coca Cola sales is in for a sustained decline in Australia. I just don't understand how this can happen.
Coca Cola is a superior tasting beverage that's umatched by any other. No other drink has the 'zing' of a Coca Cola drink.
Australia's population is forecast to double over the long term, so it is a growing market.
How can sales of the best tasting beverage in the market, selling into a growing market, be in for a sustained long term decline? It is just unfathomable to me.
