Thanks - I had a brief look. MNY's experience of collections holding up reasonably well does not surprise me. I researched what happened to a variety of poverty stocks to see how collections fared in the GFC, and none of them experienced meaningful collection problems. That is why in other posts I have only dwelled on CCP's ability to process new PDLs to the point of having the usual percentage of agreed payment plans in place. Debtors on agreed payment plans tend to be sticky.

My experience is that welching on debts is more a personality issue than an inability-to-pay issue. Some people just do not pay debts, and I have siblings who have that frame of mind, but my experience is not limited to them. There are many people with a $20-a-day smoking habit, and often a similar-cost alcohol habit, who complain that they cannot pay for the necessities of life, and cannot possibly repay debts.

What I do not know about CCP, and would like to know, is whether CCP has introduced remote-computing options in respect to its staff, or if it now intends to do that to a degree. MNY in its Covid-19 Announcement stated, that via cloud computing it had ameliorated the effect of Covid-19 lockdowns by allowing staff to either work from home, or to work in alternative places wherein fewer staff are congregated per location. If MNY can do that, then CCP should be able to do so too.
