CCS projects are getting killed all over the world, as it is being discovered to be an extremely uneconomic and non-feasible solution to non-carbon energy production.
Sure nuclear produces waste as well, but fortunately for nuclear plants the waste is reprocessable several times over and due to the extremely high energy concentration of U, it produces a whole lot of bang for very little waste.
