The bigger point here from a stock picking perspective is that we are clearly in a unique phase of retail (garments/clothing) history where the companies that have digitised their businesses (or are digital from birth) are proving they are expanding, or have the opportunity to expand, at really strong comp. amounts, well in excess of GDP and inflation and therefore deserving of consideration with a different valuation lens to the traditional legacy retail business model businesses (not simply traditional dividend yield). We are seeing this pop up now, time and time again: CCX, Premier Investments on line growth, Myer online, Showpo pure play online, Eloquii largely pure play online growth and on it goes.
