    Yes, seals.

That is the exploration game for any stock.

I was in Greatland Gold relating to Havieron. I was not in when they were at Ernest Giles, Australia.
Why? The prospect is under cover. The prospect are in "camps." A major took an interest and took an option to look round and did some technical work on 1 prospect. It didnt work out so they left.

Co had then to restructure in that the CEO Geo had to step down and become the Geo Director.
Then, a Chartered Accountant from Metal Tiger came in to do the sorting out and there was a financing to replenish the treasury. Gervaise Heddle, a former fund manager was hired from Sydney as CEO.

They then bought a licence initially at Blackhills, East of Newcrest*s Telfer. Then, they bought Havieron for something like A$250k. Havieron was DRILLED by Newcrest before but the results were not spectacular. Newcrest decided to concentrate on Telfer as I think they moving things forward on that front. TECHNICAL WORK WAS DONE - GEOPHYSICS AND THE REST OF IT as norm in prep.

Money was raised to finance the first 5 holes, then 4 holes. From the first 5 holes, some were better than others. However, the last 4 holes were O.K. Investors had murmurings then , history now.
One said it needs DFS before anyone would be interested in a JV. Another said, NOT GOOD ENOUGH ie one small part of the core did not display the same grade.

One morning, out popped a RNS to say Newcrest had JV*ed into Havieron. Reports also said other majors were interested but Newcrest offered drilling to be paid for in exchange for 70% in stages.
Also, they have the option to buy 5% at fair value. That*s pretty good as one can get as low as 20-25% in cases.

However, Gervaise Heddle said that industry rang up to congratulate him just after the 5 holes. The Australian rang the story from the 1st 5 holes stage.

The rest is history now as Newcrest sings Havieron praises with the CEO saying that Havieron*s results stand out in Paterson history etc [see detailed context].

Meanwhile, on the HC forums of the other 2 juniors were lots of posting about Havieron. There was someone who said he was a Geo. He had no end of things to say and he said he was going to report the said major to the Australian Stock Exchange because one part of the core x% and not good enough. Dont know what came of it. However, this geo said himself that he reported another co.

Havieron now has Tier 1 brokers writing on it ie Berenberg etc. GGP is included in the INDEX for that group listed in USA as with others due to its mkt cap etc.

    All history now.

Yes, you hare the right to be skeptical about all the aspects you posted about on on this forum.

    MYSELF
From the GGP experience given I was not in at Ernest Giles, I had the choice all the way to SELL, BUY OR HOLD. There is always EXIT in general and in particular. In particular means that it depends on strategy ie exit startegy which is different for everyone.

VOISEY BAY also belonged to a major at one time. That turned out to be a legend. From reading different stories, I gather that this is not all that unusual. In the Paterson, quite a lot of the licences were formerly Newcrest*s. Now, Newcrest is once again doing JV*s as is Rio.

So, from GGP experience and many others, the story is the same eg Solgold, once called Solomon Gold. It was in Papua and some other tenements at Raines and Normandy. Again, a major looked around and decided to not proceed. Again, had to refinance to look for another project ie Cascabel in Ecuador with very little to go on in terms of mining history ie not a long one. Yes, I was in from the beginning when they financed for the Cascabel project. Look how that turned out ie Tier 1 and ranked in the TOP 10 [not mine] with a mkt cap to match.

----WHAT IF I AM NOT "COMFORTABLE" FOR ANY REASON IN ANY STOCK?---
I tend NOT to like co*s that dont do much communication because one doesnt know what is happening. Here, after every ANN, they put out a short video quickly. SI Capital wrote a NOTE and it SPELLS OUT risk and investment case etc which is norm including catalysts so NO ONE CAN SAY THEY DONT KNOW in this case.

So, at EVERY STAGE, one can EXIT if one is "not comfortable" for any reason-THAT IS CHOICE. Some even have criticism that a CEO speak erm etc. So, one hears a lot of murmurs but I cut out the noise to concentrate on what is IMPORTANT TECHNICAL DATA ETC and try to find other sources of info on the area etc and what other co*s say about the PROVINCE [mineral] inc. govt reports or academic reports.

I dont have my shirt on it. I try to research as much as possible to get more info.

NO ONE HAS ANY GUARANTEE any EXPLORATION will turn out as that is the nature of exploration and it is termed "spec".

There is one Australian who lost his parent*s life savings on oppies. He*s now a famous name in mining. Someone sold him some licences which were "dud" for that particular metal but it turned out for another metal. Think it made his 1st fortune. Dont want to name names but I read it quickly and that is from recall.

So, that clarifies my position - I keep a POSITIVE MIND and keep to the TECHNICAL DATA, ANN etc as said above. Anytime, I think it is NO LONGER SUITABLE, I can exit.

Right now, I can buy some other exploration co looking for lithium. However, in the case of Castillo, its goes with the package. So, I am happy about that part in that there is a lithium project near Core, 900m to their boundary. 2 other co*s are also looking. So, lots to CHOOSE FROM, lots of co*s like these.

That*s my outlook that whilst positive, IN THE END, THE DRILL /S WILL TELL AND TEST THE PROSPECT. SAME FOR ALL EXPLORATION [JUNIOR] CO*s. Rate of success? That is for the statistical studies.

DYOR. Do due diligence. I dont have a negative outlook as it doesnt help. Nor am I positive to the extent I am not cognisant. I have been on quite a "few" plays in exploration and I am cognisant what it takes ie RESULTS. However, results mean different things to different people In the end as in the case of Havieron. At Cascabel, the 1st hole - one said NOT deep enough. Later, NOT good enough. Maybe, they think that S.A produces results like KAMOA KAKULA IN DRC {famed Robert Friedland fame]. Even at Kamoa-Kakula, there was NO TECHNICAL to show as said and no one else has the SAME RESULTS since. ALL IN THE ANNALS OF EXPLORATION [junior] with ALL ATTENDANT RISKS and reward, some more, some less.

THE DRILL TESTS ALL ANOMALIES-LITHMUS TEST FOR ALL EXPLORATION CO, JUNIORS OR MID ETC.
