Last few days I've been thinking....perhaps the CD40L program is being geared up for a sale rather than a new deal. After seven years of fine tuning, optimizing etc all behind the scenes (with not many updates) a deal would have been struck by now don't you think? I'd say an exit for this program may be quite likely as the next big move for the team. 8 number of deal discussions as of today in the Lupus & rheumatoid arthritis space. How many of those Pharma Co's are close to taking action even pre-clinical? You'd have to think that after all these years of perfecting what they have developed, collaborations with some of the top notch tech partners and considering they have relationships with many prospective and current pharmaceutical partners in this space, that this may very well be the next game changer for the company.
And.... if CD40L peptides leads have a value of over $400m, what value will Phylogica's libraries have as a trade sale? Mind boggling!
