Maybe of interest to some is the release in feb 23 .
of the upgraded DTC mesh radio known as the 'sentry mesh 6161-L'
My understanding is this upgraded version will be sold to the US army 101 st airborne to start..
With a couple of hundred units for the Australian army in june/july with the UK army next target.

Interesting to note Codan DTC suggest 2 suppliers of mesh radio which after reading an article i 'think' this makes sense .
Silvus notam communications to supply USMC with 'streamCaster manet radio's-mn-mimo waveform.

I'm guessing the US army and US marines wanted these radios immediately like they did the microsoft combat goggles for command,control and communications-tactical PEOC3T and maybe didn't want to wait for microsoft to resolve the nausea and headache issues for their combat goggles.?
