I'm watching this one closely for an entry point.
RSI is only one parameter that traders watch. still in a significant downtrend on the chart.
looking at CDA's PE ratio, it is still about 26 on FY21 earnings.
at it's peak share price around $19, it was on PE ratio about 35....way too expensive.
but from 2015 to 2020, CDA ran on PE ratios between 7 - 15.
so clearly the market rerated CDA with a PE expansion.
statutory EPS rose by 41% from FY2020 to 2021 ( from 35.5 to 50.1 cps ) but the PE ratio rose by 133% from 15 to 35.
so a significant correction was always bound to happen. especially now that the gold price has cooled off
and I suppose the market expects much less EPS growth next year, plus the Managing Director is retiring
and their outlook statement said "uncertainty around Tactical Communications and supply chain due to COVID-19 still exists".
from a chart point of view, it might be trying to fill the gap at $12.50 to 12.80, where it would be on PE around 23.
might get there if the overall market corrects.
