Brutal sell-off today, but volatility comes with the territory when investing in growth stocks.
When a stock gains 135% in 12 months, you've got to accept days like today, otherwise you'll never get to benefit from the outsized gains that come with riding the longterm uptrends of superior companies.
The main risk, as I see it, is if today marks the "beginning of the end" i.e. The breaking of the longterm uptrend and the start of a downtrend. This might not become clear for several days or even weeks.
I don't take any comfort from Comsec/Morningstar Fair Value Estimates. They are a perfect example of data that an investor should block-out entirely.
I'll wait for some clues that the longterm uptrend is intact before considering another top-up.
