    G'day,

    The long awaited CDC guidelines for the use of QuantiFERON-TB GOLD have finally been published.

    In short, the CDC have given a totally unrestricted recomendation. They have now clearly stated that QuantiFERON GOLD can be used in absolutely ALL situations where testing for latent TB is required.

    This is the news we have been awaiting.

    We have known for some time that many bodies in the US have wanted to switch to QFTG testing but have not been able to untill the CDC produced these guidelines. The availability of these guidelines will open up the sales floodgates in the US.

    In other news, CST have released on their website the information that they have just produced another 3 batches of QFTG for distribution.

    All good news.
