Yes I think fair to say running behind - perhaps putting it mildly.
I would give Andrew Buckley a lot of praise but hubris caught up to him and that's something anyone who is successful in investing has to watch for.
I don't think Crescent would launch a takeover bid because I think that would be going through a few red-lights in terms of the takeovers act. May also need to pay more of a premium.
Buying back is cheaper right, using the companies own resources.
