The truth is SiameseParrot has been running "hot and cold" on the merger since it was announced. In other words, he has been struggling with it, like the rest of us.
I too posted recently that I was warming up to the idea of the merger having read up on CDE, but am far from convinced.
As others have posted, our Board needs to elaborate on why they think merging with Coeur is a better proposition than staying the course previously set. Primarily, I suspect it has to do with Coeur's mine development expertise, in particular their experience in underground mining. They are planning on re-jigging the Palmarejo mine plan at additional cost.
