No doubt you are aware of the announcement of the closure of the Osborne Cu mine in the last few days.
This will shut down next year but not due to bad economics ..they will have mined it out.. just like Century Zinc further North, run by the Chinese owned MMG group.
That leaves another supply gap of Cu in the area. Good news for CDU I would have thought, they will fill a void in supply from the local area.
Some of the machinery will go to the Merlin deposit mine area .. in the future ..to extract the Moly and Rhenium ..copper is gone . A large Chines entity owns Osborne and the Merlin deposit.
