The directors are not buying. In fact only one director has bought shares this year, WM. He has spent about 7.5% of a (his) years salary from CDU on CDU shares. That's like someone on $60k/yr spending $4.5k on shares. It's really a drop in the ocean.
Apart from WM, no other director has opened their wallets to buy shares at these extremely low prices this year. Why?
If CDU is such a great buy as many allude to, then why are the other directors not buying? My opinion is that they expect another Cap Raise and are saving up for that. Then, like last year, most of the directors will then participate in the raising.
At this point, directors (plural) not buying on market really is a red flag for me. I'm not just talking 5-10k of shares either. Look at some other companies like IGO where one director recently spent over $80k on shares and another over $400k. That to me is confidence being shown by directors!
