"So why should the company care about non holders or traders? Well they dont. The original figures were given out to shareholders so they could see what was being mined from surface. I presume the next lot of figures will be given with over 1 million t's mined. For shareholders."

    Hilarious.

Unfortunately when you are talking about mining investment in the western world, the big end of town needs numbers numbers to make informed investment decisions. So you see, the company should care about institutional non-holders because if they make a decision to invest in CDU they could pump tens of millions of dollars into the company in a short period of time all with on market purchases. Understandably this alone would lead to share price appreciation but also show a level of institutional confidence in the company that at present is not there. So, maybe other institutions would also get on board, traders would see an opportunity to take a position, and of course the existing shareholders will also add to their positions. There would be a massive re-rating under this scenario since all of a sudden there is tens of millions of dollars and more buying shares on market.

It appears that when you talk about shareholders you are talking about you and a handful of mates who go to the agm every year and have a couple beers and talk this company up between each other until the cows come home. In the big picture of things your investments combined are almost insignificant considering the company's market cap is around $450 million. It is the institutions who are responsible for other peoples' money who the company should be trying to attract (ie non-holders) if they want to see a re-rating.

So based on what you have written, imo, it appears that the company has things the wrong way around as have you.
