charlie 123, nothing wrong with hitting the bid or the ask. I would call this trading not manipulation, at the end of the day a market will go where ever it wants to go regardless of the kind of orders going through....

IMO what the high court should get rid of are all those false algo bids that disappear once an order has been entered into the the market.

How many times have I seen a market depth showing something like 27483 on the buy side then someone sells 5000 into the bid and the entire bid disappears. This is what they should crack down on! But they wont do anything because the people responsible for such orders are major investment banks....
